Private tours
We offer private guided tours for groups. These guided tours are longer than our free daily tours and are perfect for larger groups of visitors, who want a more personal experience.
A private guided tour in Danish or English costs 1.000 DKK plus entré fee pr. Participant (max. 25 participants). The private guided tour takes 50 minutes.
A private guided tour is not the same as our free daily tours. The free daily tours only require an entrance ticket. You can read more about them here.
On the private guided tour you will you will get an in-depth introduction to the Library building, and you will be taken on a tour to see some of the universitys’ oldest buildings from the inside. Not least you will get the opportunity to come down into the university’s old prison dungeon where you can still see the carved names of mischievous students all the way back to the last half of the 1600s. Our talented tour guided will narrate in a lively fashion and there is generally plenty of time for questions and answers.
It is possible to book private guided tours Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at times 11am, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
A possible cancellation must happen at least 48 hours beforehand, or there will be charged the fee for the tour.
