Johannes Tholle became a horticulturalist in 1914 and worked from 1918 as an independent garden architect. He was particularly known for his work with the construction of cemeteries. The library has parts of Johannes Tholle's work archive, which reflect his interest in cemeteries in particular but also the construction of gardens and parks in general. Carl Theodor Sørensen's archive and collection are primarily located at the Art Library, but we have a smaller collection of drawings at KUB Frederiksberg, including works from his collaborations with Troels Erstad and Georg Boye.

C. Th. Sørensen was born on July 24, 1893, and died on September 12, 1979.

He was trained as a gardener and is one of the few Danish landscape architects who became internationally known.2

Eigil Kiær was born on August 11, 1901, and died on June 2, 1981.

He graduated as a horticultural candidate from the Agricultural University in 1921.

Kiær was a diligent writer and published several books on flowers and plants, garden design, and gardening, many of which are available via Soeg.dk. This includes " ”Vejledning i Fagtegning, Landmaaling og Nivellering for unge Gartnere" as an example of the teaching in garden design from 1943.

Erik Mygind was born on August 29, 1916, and died on April 29, 1978.

He graduated as a Horticulture candidate from the Agricultural University in 1941.

Langkilde's archive is available at the Art Library, but we have a few drawings.

Eywin Langkilde was born on September 21, 1919, and died on June 18, 1997.

He graduated as a horticultural candidate from the Agricultural University in 1944.
