Glæsel was the most popular Danish landscape architect at the time. Glæsel's strong point were large landscape gardens - especially inspired by the scenic, English garden style, but often with separated small gardens incorporated. He was responsible for new parks and reorganization of existing parks at manor houses in Denmark as well as in Sweden, he established a number of urban gardens  and he designed a large number of villa gardens. BVFB has a complete collection of his garden designs  - arranged in 518 files and rolls.
