Courses in Information Literacy - Teachers

Would you like your students to learn how to search for academic literature, how to be critical when evaluating their finds, and how to refer to the texts correctly? The University Library can help you.

At the University Library, we offer courses in literature search, source criticism, reference management, and much more for both BA and MA students. Either we can visit your course as a part of your regular schedule, or we can offer your students extracurricular courses at the library.

We teach topics such as:

  • Basic use of the library
  • Literature search
  • Reference managing
  • Source criticism
  • How to avoid plagiarism

We design each course according to the specific needs of each course/group of students, so depending on your preferences, we can incorporate elements of all of the topics mentioned above or just a few in your course.

Listed below are some examples of courses that we teach regularly.
