Courses for researchers and PhDs
Copenhagen University library regularly organises courses tailored to the interests of researchers and PhD students. The courses are announced in the menu to the right. You can learn more about the courses and register by clicking on the course titles.
The library organises the PhD course ‘Open up your Academic Publishing Toolbox’ every semester, where participants are credited with 1 ECTS point upon completion.
The course addresses the opportunities and challenges that PhD students might face in the process of publishing their research, as journal articles (or monographs) and data publications.
The aim of the course is to provide the PhD students with knowledge, skills, and tools for publishing their research openly and responsibly while fulfilling the requirements of their university, their funder and their research community.
The course covers:
- Copyright in publishing
- Creative Commons licenses
- Open Access publishing
- Evaluation of researchers
- The FAIR principles for research data
The courses are conducted in English.
Participants
PhD students and academic staff (VIP) from University of Copenhagen.
