Birds

The library has a large number of books about birds in the collections. Below a selection of illustrated plates from some of the old 1600-1800 books. There are also illustrations of birds in a number of other web-exhibitions: Illustrated works before 1700 - especially 1555, but also 1600, 1605, 1668/69, 1681 og 1685. In addition Catesby, Classen library, Fabulous animals, Rostrups birds, Zoology and Zootomia. |
