Bibliometrics

Copenhagen University Library supports researchers, management, and administration at UCPH in bibliometrics, which includes conducting bibliometric analyses and reports. Bibliometrics is used for quantitative research evaluation, such as analysing publications and citations in order to shed light on research impact.

Additionally, the library offers presentations and training in bibliometrics and responsible research evaluation.

Upon agreement with faculties and departments, the library provides reports to the different research units. These reports consist of data from CURIS (Copenhagen University Research Information System) and can be offered on a monthly, semi-annual, or annual basis.

 

 

The library contributes to UCPH’s research evaluation and delivers annual bibliometric reports at both the department and faculty levels. These reports are used for internal analyses as well as external promotion of UCPH’s research.

Larger analyses, network analyses and visualization of bibliometrics, such as analyses on industry collaboration or interdisciplinary research, can be provided upon agreement.

As part of the service, the library offers guidance on analyses and on bibliometric practices.
